One Step Away

We're one step away from coordination for our repeater here in Pensacola. Last time we mentioned it was back about three of four months ago. We've already filled out the forms, had confirmation that they have been recieved and now it's hurry up and wait!

This is important for us because it gets us listed in the annual repeater directory put out by the ARRL. When our friends and fellow hams travel through our area they will be able to look up local repeaters in the area and talk to our users. It also ensures we are not interfering with other systems in the area that may be important.

It seems that there was a typo in one of the e-mails between the coordinators, but that seems to be cleared up now. This delayed coordination for some time. So we're looking forward to being put on the map, so to speak, in the next publishing of the directory.
