Repeater Status

Currently the repeater is located at W4PWB's house and on a very low elevation antenna. We are actively searching for a home to put the repeater that will give us good coverage in the panhandle of Florida in and around Pensacola. This has been an ongoing project since about 2004. A relocation took the repeater offline for a few years and it sat idle in storage or in its current low output state.

Immediate needs:

Location - Suitable antenna and repeater location to give coverage in our desired area.
Controller - Although the repeater has its own ID'er built in the need to remote control the machine still remains.
Feed line - Depending on the height that the final installation at the repeater site X number of feet of feed line is needed.
Duplexers - ***We have been in contact with a club in Alaska that has offered to supply us with a set of duplexers. At this time we are still waiting to hear back on the cost to ship the 4 can set from Alaska to Florida.

As this is an ongoing project we will be updating this site as the need arises.
